Most gorgeous face sculpt!

I have to admit Barbie is not my primary doll for collecting. In fact we bought this doll for my daughter's collection. But when we actually took her out of the box I have to confess I was smitten--absolutely smitten--with this doll's face.



Her makeup is really perfect for this look. She's got smokey eyes but very neutral lips (check out my real-life photos of this doll!). Her hair is heavily gelled in the front and came attached to her "leather" bustier (which really does lace up in the back).



The outfit is pretty cool without looking trashy. She's wearing jeans under her pink "leather" chaps. And her bustier is pretty over-the-top and she does have an angel tattoo on her back (just be aware of this if you're buying her for a younger collector). She has over-sized gunmetal gray hoop earrings that really pull together her look and of course black motorcycle boots and an airbrushed helmet.



My one complaint with this doll is her hair. I wish Mattel would fix its packaging on the collector dolls. More often than not when you debox a doll the hair just looks like a rat's nest in the back. However in this case Barbie rides a motorcycle. Heck everyone who has ever ridden on a motorcycle knows your hair gets messed up. So that's why I still can rate this doll five stars. Can't change Barbie Clothes

I was looking at this Barbie in the store and noticed that only the skirt was removeable. So if you want to use this Barbie to change clothes I would not recommend it. I don't think you will be able to do so.More detail ...

FIRST PRESENT OPENED REST OF PRESENTS SAT THERE!

I gave my grandaughter((age 5) this as a present. As she had opened all the wonderful gifts from other members Mom and Dad already earlier Christmas morning and Christmas Eve there were many toys opened already. She opened this one and that was it. All she did was switch outfits put makeup on the doll got a bed ready for her in the new dollhouse she received. I really had to laugh as she was really focused on getting her dressed just right. Broke in Seconds

My daughter just got this doll for her 4th birthday today. Changing the mermaid outfit into a dress was great and she also loved the accessories. After playing for a few minutes the dolls leg came off. I snapped it back in and tried to sit the doll up and the leg just kept coming off. I could barely move the good leg without using force. I don't know why this doll couldn't sit or move freely but I will be returning it and trying a new one and hopefully it was just this doll.More detail ...
